My Background
Let me start by saying, I am proud of my Indigenous Aboriginal American Hebrew heritage, I came from a very skillful and talented nation of people who were master builders, carvers, weavers, artisans and musicians. Among the many skills and talents of my ancestors, I have inherited a keen eye for arts and design.
When I look at a space, I always think of possibility of what can be done in order to turn it into a multifunctional room other than its intended purpose. Even when I was young my Mom would usually find me in unthinkable places like under the stairs where I would play or draw, and inside the closet which I converted into my own little space to sleep and study because I wanted to have my own room (I used to share room with my older brother). My interest in space layout and design has never left me even when I got older, so I pursued to earn my Bachelors of Arts in Architecture. Throughout my career working for various architecture and engineering firms, I have gained so much experience and knowledge when it comes to project management, creating plans and design for commercial establishments such as Costco, Starbucks, Safeway and others. I have also worked for home developers doing space layout and designs.
A few years after I started my career in Architecture and design, I met my wife who also shares common interests. When we would have friends over at our place, they often marvel at the furniture layout and how we put together eclectic elements to achieve the design that captures our unique style at the same time having the intimate and comfortable feel in our home. I started getting asked for interior design consultation by people whom I met through mutual acquaintances, who would hear about the interior design that my wife and I did in our own home. This is how I got started doing private interior design projects as a side hustle while still working at an engineering firm. When the company I was working for started slowing down, I still didn't consider doing interior design as a full time business. I wanted to diversify my career choices in this ever changing economic landscape. So, with the help of The Most High and my wife's encouragement, I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration which opened up more opportunities for me.
After awhile, I met a friend who is in a construction and maintenance business, who often referred me to his clients who are needing interior design to be done in their home or CAD drawings for construction project in order to get permit from the city. This is what brought me back to doing space layout and design and eventually launched CK Damone Design.
Aside from interior design, I also have affinity for high-end audio systems which typically include high-quality components like turntables, digital-to-analog converters (DACs), preamplifiers, amplifiers, and speakers. Incorporating music into a space can significantly influence its mood and ambiance, from creating a relaxing atmosphere to energizing a room. This is one of the projects I am working on expanding under CK Damone Audio.
It is very humbling and rewarding to be able to share my expertise with clients when it comes to creating well-designed, harmonious spaces, balancing functionality and aesthetics.

Business Collaboration
A skilled contractor or builder is crucial in interior design projects because they translate the designer's vision into reality through practical implementation, managing construction, remodeling, and other technical aspects of the project, ensuring quality workmanship. A trustworthy and reliable contractor plays a key role in the overall success of the project, making sure it is completed on time and within budget.
CK Damone Design has teamed up with AZ Construction & Maintenance Corp., a fully bonded and licensed company with old fashioned integrity. Together, we work seamlessly to create awe-inspiring and innovative spaces employing design techniques and architectural elements that create a perception of both vertical and horizontal expansion, combining different elements such as large textures, bold colors, and dramatic lighting, to create spaces that spark curiosity and make them feel personal, as well as foster opportunities for social interaction, whether through shared spaces at home or collaboration zones in a business environment.
